Overview

Ajax are the visitors on Matchday 3, for the first meeting of the sides in competitive action since 2001 when Celtic overcame the Dutchmen 3-2 on aggregate, thanks to first leg goals from Bobby Petta, Didier Agathe and Chris Sutton.

Now Ronald de Boer will bring his side to Glasgow, looking to go once step further than last year’s 3rd placed finish in a group that consisted of Real Madrid, Manchester City and beaten finalists Borussia Dortmund.

Following this match Celtic face the Dutch champions again on 6th November, and the result of this double header could prove decisive in deciding who progresses from the group stages. Don’t miss your chance to roar on the Bhoys in this crucial tie.
