Everybody already knows about Cristiano Ronaldo, Xavi and Wayne Rooney. We thought we would give you a list of new superstars who look set to make a name for themselves in Poland/Ukraine.
1. Mezut Ozil
Many England fans will remember Ozil who was instrumental in Germany’s victory over the three lions in the 2010 World Cup. Ozil was nominated for the Golden Ball award and is now a regular fixture in the Real Madrid team.

Afellay is an exciting Dutch winger. Having recently joined Barcelona Afellay is a player with great skill and class, don’t be surprised to see his name on the scoresheet at the Championships.
3. Klaas Jan Huntelaar
Huntelaar has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League but this has never materialised. The Dutch striker is currently the top goalscorer in qualifying and is very dangerous around the box.
4. Juan Mata
Mata will be a more familiar face to English football fans after his move to Chelsea. The young Spaniard has impressed with his attacking play and has broken into the senior national side.
5. Eden Hazard
The Belgian winger is best known for his explosive runs and creative play. Playing for Lille in France, Hazard has been linked with numerous Premier League clubs. The championships could be a great place for Hazard to showcase his talent, don’t be surprised to see the Belgian in the Premier League in the future.
6. Yoann Gourcuff
The French playmaker is a dynamic midfielder who plays just in behind the strikers. Gourcuff’s style of play has drawn comparison to that of Zidane!
7. Romelu Lukaku
Lukaku is a Belgian striker who recently signed for Chelsea. The 6 foot 3 inch striker has been dubbed the new Didier Drogba and defences will have a tough time dealing with his strength and power.
8. Jack Wilshere
England fans will be placing their hopes on the shoulders of Wilshere. The youngster broke into the national side after a sensational season with Arsenal and looks to get better and better with every game.
9. Danny
The Portuguese playmaker plies his trade in Russia for Zenit st Petersburg. Playing in behind the strikers Danny is known for scoring goals from midfield.
10. Mario Gotze
At just 19 years old Gotze is already making an impression on the world of football. Tipped to be a world class superstar Gotze’s speed, skill and creativity are attributes to be savoured.
